femurs come from New York. They've been friends since way back. Rob and Colin are friends from way back before high school. Way back before Rob ended up living in his broken down Tempo in Olympia. Way back before Colin was teleported to Seattle by a Simple Twist of Fate. Really far back. femurs listen to the Ramones, Violent Femmes, the Minutemen, the Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, Sebadoh, the Silver Jews, Frank Black Francis, Fugazi, Woody Guthrie, Slim Harpo, John Lee Hooker, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman, and other noises. femurs currently appear most frequently in Seattle as a two-piece, rotating behind two microphones, a semi acoustic guitar and drums, weaving a homespun sit-on-the-floor improvisational sound with harmonized rock and roll, but there is no telling what will come out of the femurs laboratory, they're just trying to have fun.
